The annual pilgrimage to Stradbally is upon us for another year and, despite high temperatures and dry conditions for most of the summer, the forecast for Electric Picnic 2026 is not looking very positive. Veterans of the festival will remember the muck, puddles and rain from 2022 and, while the years since then have been relatively dry, sunny and stress-free, one bad year was enough to put some off returning to EP ever again. There’s a chance we’ll see similar conditions this year as Met Éireann meteorologist Holly O’Neill said the 80,000 picnickers will have “quite an unsettled weekend in store” weather-wise.On the other hand, acts such as CMAT, Gorillaz, Fontaines DC and more are set to perform this weekend, which will make the wet weather worth it for some.As well as that, this year is the first year where urinals for women have been installed, providing a quicker option to reduce queues for the loos.So, we want to hear from you about your experiences at this year’s festival.
