Last One Laughing season three cast has been announced, and one reporter believes they have already worked out who will be the winner of the series11:42, 28 Aug 2026Updated 11:42, 28 Aug 2026The cast of season three of Last One Laughing has been announced and there already seems to be one obvious winner.‌It was announced that the comics this year will include; former co-host Roisin Conaty (with series two star Mel Giedroyc joinig Jimmy Carr as his deputy instead), Harry Hill, Katherine Ryan, Lee Mack, Katherine Parkinson, Michelle de Swarte, Jon Richardson, Morgana Robinson, Josh Jones and series one Runner-Up, Richard Ayoade.‌The rules are simple you have a set amount of time, whoever laughs is out. Of course this means the comics must pull out every trick in the book to try and make each other laugh - all while not even cracking a smile at anything that is said or takes place.‌For some, the obvious winner might be Richard Ayoade, who refused to crack throughout the season, but only crumbled in the last couple of minutes when faced with Bob Mortimer who had a list of jokes ready for a face-off and Richard had nothing prepared. But while Richard's po-face might have served him well in his season, ultimately it was Bob's comedy chops and non-stop jokes that managed to win out. Coming back a second time around, maybe Richard will be more prepared with some ace jokes up his sleeve, but I think his sense of humour might not cut the mustard when it comes to these comics.‌But if you know anything about her comedy, Morgana Robinson is the dark horse who has it in the bag this competition.‌She appeared in Taskmaster in 2021 - and won - and again appeared in the Champions of Champions in 2024.These appearances firmly cemented her comedy skills and also her ability to think on her feet, leaving me with no doubt she''ll be able to have the other contestants in stitches - but that's not why I think she could win it.In 2018, fans of 8 Out of 10 Cats does Countdown were first introduced to Morgana. She was dressed as Natalie Cassidy and did an impression of her throughout the entire episode - reader, she did not break character once.‌I hadn't heard of her before and was completely obsessed with the episode - I still now never skip clips from her appearances on the show when they arrive on my For You Page - but while she managed to have the rest of the panel in hysterics, she retained a dazed look and stayed in character without flinching. And this isn't' the only time the impressionist has managed this feet. The actress and comic is set to appear as Ali G's girlfriend (Me Julie) in the sequel of the iconic film.‌Filmed with real people who aren't acting and believe Sacha Baron Cohen and Morgana are really playing themselves, the actress has basically just had an intense training camp about keeping a straight face. Now, she will be facing a number of stars who are also skilled at keeping a straight face. Her biggest competition likely being Harry Hill, Katherine Ryan, and Jon Richardson who seem seem less likely to crack than others.‌Based on outtakes from The IT Crowd, Katherine Parkinson might be in hot water when it comes to cracking, and the same goes for Roisin Conaty and Lee Mack who have been known to lose the plot while appearing on panel shows. But obviously as a comedy show, being able to keep a straight face can only get you so far, as seen with Richard Ayoade and Diane Morgan. Being able to make a complete fool of yourself and act the maggot is what's going to get you to that finish line.Bob Mortimer won season one and returned as the reigning champion in season two, but was beaten by Peep Show star David Mitchell - who went all out with a Joker song rendition of 'What A Picture'.Article continues belowBoth comics were ready and raring to go all out to get to the finish line, and based on Morgana's previous work - including a moment on Taskmaster that saw her propose to a married man while painted green and sat in a bath - I think she should be fine.
