The Acting Minister of Police, Firoz Cachalia, is releasing the crime stats for the period April to June 2026 in Pretoria.
These are crimes that occurred during the first quarter of the 2026/2027 financial year.
Cachalia, the Deputy Ministers of Police, Cassel Mathale and Dr. Polly Boshielo, together with the Acting National Commissioner of Police, Lieutenant-General Puleng Dimpane, are expected to present the statistics.
Cachalia said people are entitled to know how many crimes are reported to the SAPS regularly.
