The iPhone 18 will also support these features when it launches, of course.How Long Will Apple Update iOS 26?Apple has updated iOS 18, iOS 26’s predecessor, on and off for nearly a year. This is longer than previously and could be driven by the number of security flaws being discovered by AI. Malware such as spyware often targets older devices, so Apple ensures important security fixes always reach them.With this in mind, it’s possible that Apple will update iOS 26 with critical security upgrades for a year.
