The festival, which initially began as a one-day annual event run by Liverpool night club, Cream, is famed for bringing the best in electronic music and attracting a whole hoard of revellers, out for a good time.‌Taking place over the August bank holiday weekend, the festival, which is now four days-long, is widely considered to be the ultimate end-of-summer knees-up. However, over the years, the huge dance event has seen drug-related deaths as well as a series of violent brawls.‌The annual festival has taken steps to stamp out rampant drug use with Cheshire cops heavily policing site entry with a zero-tolerance policy on weapons and drugs.‌However, this year, things seem to be different. Despite police digging up a 'sizeable' drug haul buried underground at the music festival site in Cheshire this week, Creamfields has listed a number of "new additions" to its line-up including yoga, jigsaw sessions, sound baths and even "disco pilates" in an apparent swing from hedonism to health...Yoga and disco pilatesAs well as live performances from Faithless and Underworld, as well as global legends including Calvin Harris, Carl Cox and Martin Garrix, there will also be fitness, wellness and sport facilities as part of the festival's Downtown Village for party people to work up a different kind of sweat.‌Disco Pilates, Yoga, bodyweight workouts and meditation are all on offer.
