Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, will introduce its Premium Economy cabin on two of its three daily flights between Mauritius and Dubai from September 1, 2026, expanding its premium offering in one of Africa’s wealthiest and most tourism-driven economies.
The Dubai-based carrier, owned by the Government of Dubai through the Investment Corporation of Dubai, also operates the world’s largest Airbus A380 fleet, underpinning an extensive network across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and the Middle East.
Under the new arrangement, Premium Economy will be available on flights EK703 and EK704, operated by an Airbus A380, and EK709 and EK710, served by a retrofitted Boeing 777.
The upgrade gives travellers another option between Economy and Business Class while strengthening Emirates’ premium offering on a route linking Mauritius with Dubai and onward destinations.
