Police said Pina Guzman Jeremy Paolo, 23, and Manzano Quezada Boris Alexis, 33, allegedly used a hammer to smash a display case at Time Walker in Tokyo’s Nakano Ward at around 11:50 a.m. on Aug. 25, Japan News reported.
The suspects allegedly stole the four watches valued at a combined 200 million yen (US$1.2 million).

Investigators detained the two men at a minpaku private lodging in Osaka on Aug. 27. They were found with a wristwatch of the same brand as one of the stolen watches, and police are investigating whether it was among the stolen items.
Manzano admitted to the allegations, telling police that he planned to sell the watches for cash and take the money back to his home country, Manichi newspaper reported.
