A survey done on Aug. 27 by Mustgo, a booking platform with over 2,000 hotel partners across the country, shows that room occupancy rates for the holiday are highest from Aug. 29 to Sept. 1.
In the north, demand varies by destination.
Sa Pa and Quang Ninh, home to Ha Long Bay, report high booking rates, while in Hanoi it is around 50%.
The central and Central Highlands regions will be the busiest.
Balmy weather and travel incentives, such as free entry tickets to sightsee in Hue, caused demand to surge starting two weeks before the holidays.
