The study, published in The Sunday Times Growing Old Index by Health Connect Global, revealed that Wokingham, in Berkshire, is the town where people live the longest.‌The market town has an average life expectancy of 84 years. Women in Wokingham enjoy a life expectancy of 85.5 years, while men have 82.8 years. However, ONS figures show that the town of Hart, in Hampshire, has the longest male life expectancy in the UK at 83.7 years.‌The London neighbourhoods of Kensington and Chelsea also have one of the highest life expectancies in the country.
