The total combat losses of Russian forces in personnel from February 24, 2022, to August 28, 2026, have reached approximately 1,483,780, including 1,630 troops killed over the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
As of August 28, Ukrainian forces have also destroyed 12,307 (+3) Russian tanks, 25,237 (+0) armored combat vehicles, 48,749 (+55) artillery systems, 2,067 (+2) multiple-launch rocket systems, 1,593 (+3) air defense systems, 440 (+0) aircraft, 354 (+0) helicopters, 2,420 (+16) ground robotic systems, 485,024 (+1,657) operational and tactical UAVs, 5,060 (+8) cruise missiles, 35 (+0) warships and boats, 2 (+0) submarines, 140,741 (+493) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 4,604 (+2) units of special equipment belonging to the Russian army.
