3,256 Women Benefit from Value Chain Development Programme in Kogi

Kogi Value Chain Development Programme has empowered no fewer than 3,256 women in the Rice and Cassava Value Chains through access to inputs, productive assets, and market linkages.
The State Project Coordinator, FGN/IFAD-VCDP Kogi, Stella Adejoh disclosed this while speaking at 2026 International day of Women farmers celebration in Lokoja ,
said the UN declaration of 2026 was a historic recognition of women’s indispensable role in agriculture.
