Shares of power producers fell as traders rotated out of defensive sectors back into the high-risk tech sector due to Nvidia's outlook for robust growth.

The SPDR Select Sector Utilities exchange-traded fund has given back all year-to-date gains and is flat for 2026 ahead of Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh's speech from Jackson Hole, Wyo. Investors are hoping Warsh will give some indication of his rate-policy plans.
