MANILA, Philippines — A Filipino was reported to be among the more than a thousand people missing in the flash floods and landslides that occurred on the Nepal-Tibet border, where the confirmed death toll had reached at least 359 people as of Thursday.

The lone Filipino was on the initial record cited by the Nepal Tourism Board, though it was yet to be confirmed by the Philippine government at press time.
