Harry Styles kicked off his historic 30-show run at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night with a new setlist, a first-ever live performance of one of his newest songs and a Dolly Parton tribute — with plenty of stars, including his fiancée, in attendance.
Night one of Styles’ residency, which will make up all his U.S. show dates this year for his Together, Together tour, opened with “Dance No More,” a track from his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, released in March. The song set the tone for an energetic return to the “World’s Most Famous Arena,” with fans screaming and belting out the lyrics as Styles danced across the neon, oval-shaped stage. It also replaced “Are You Listening Yet?” as the opener.
“How about those Knicks?” Styles said to the crowd, nodding to the New York Knicks winning the 2026 NBA Championship in June for the first time since 1973, as he transformed their home base into Harry’s House.
Styles then surprised the audience by playing “Carolina,” a song from his 2017 self-titled debut solo album that he hasn’t performed live in years. The high-energy vibes continued with “Adore You” and “Watermelon Sugar” from 2019’s Fine Line, as well as “As It Was,” “Music for a Sushi Restaurant,” “Satellite” and “Cinema” from 2022’s Harry’s House.
