Two men were arrested for allegedly firing at a 32-year-old man in West Delhi’s Mianwali Nagar over his live-in relationship with a divorced woman, whom the accused allegedly considered their sworn sister, police said on Thursday.The accused were identified as Sagar, 26, and Piyush, 23. The incident was reported around 4.28 p.m. on August 26 outside a house in Mianwali Nagar, under Paschim Vihar West police station. The accused arrived on a motorcycle and fired a single shot at Nihal Khan, hitting him near the back of his right ear.Khan, a resident of Ekta Enclave, was taken to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. He is said to be stable.A case under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act has been registered. Further investigation is underway.
