Three UK airports operated by Manchester Airport Group have been hit by a cybersecurity incident in which the data of about 8.7 million customers was accessed.

Manchester Airport Group (MAG), which operates Manchester Airport, London Stansted Airport and East Midlands Airport, confirmed the incident but said passenger safety and aviation security were not compromised, according to The Guardian.
