Hyderabad-based Deepa Jewellers has set the price band for its initial public offering (IPO) at ₹168-177 per equity share, with the issue set to open on September 1 and close on September 3. The equity shares have a face value of ₹2 each.The IPO comprises a fresh issue of up to ₹250 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of up to 1.18 crore equity shares by promoter selling shareholders.The minimum bid lot has been fixed at 84 equity shares. At the upper end of the price band, investors will need to commit ₹14,868 for one lot.The company plans to use the proceeds from the fresh issue primarily to fund its long-term working capital requirements, including the procurement, maintenance and scaling up of inventory. A portion of the proceeds will also be utilised for general corporate purposes and expenses related to the IPO.Incorporated in 2016, Deepa Jewellers is an organised B2B designer, processor and supplier of hallmarked gold jewellery, primarily operating across Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
