Aug. 27 (UPI) -- The Seattle Seahawks and Pro Bowl defensive tackle Leonard Williams agreed to a three-year, $90 million contract extension.
Sources told ESPN, The Athletic and NFL Network about the agreement Thursday. Williams' pact includes $56 million guaranteed and ties him to the Seahawks through 2029.
The three-time Pro Bowl selection, who signed a three-year, $64.5 million contract with the Seahawks in 2024, was to hit free agency next off-season.
Williams, 32, entered the league as the No. 6 overall pick by the New York Jets in the 2015 NFL Draft.
