Nasdaq-listed DeFi Development Corp. resumed adding to its Solana treasury, acquiring roughly 19,000 SOL at an average price of $98.14, bringing its holdings to approximately 2.33 million SOL and (SOL) equivalents.

The purchase was partially funded by its ZeroStack divestment, with the new SOL expected to be held long-term and deployed through its staking infrastructure.

DeFi Development and ZeroStack previously signed a strategic partnership in September 2025.

"DFDV is designed to provide investors with leveraged exposure to Solana, and we believe the recent trading activity demonstrates that investors increasingly understand that value proposition," CEO Joseph Onorati said in a release.

"Our equity has become one of the most liquid ways to express that view within the SOL DAT category, while our treasury continues to generate differentiated organic yield." DFDV's return has been more than twice that of SOL in the month of August, while quarter-to-date, shares have outperformed SOL by 1.8x.
