HBO released a trailer for “Youth,” the upcoming comedy starring by Sharon Horgan, who also created the series and serves as executive producer.

Per the official logline, “Youth” follows “a 50-year-old divorcee’s search for sex and love whilst juggling caring for her ailing parents and parenting her should-be grown up son.” Along with Horgan as Alex, the cast includes Rupert Friend, Sharlene Whyte, Aran Murphy and Robbie Gee.

The trailer opens with a doctor diagnosing Alex with arthritis in her jaw. “It’s just an age thing,” she says. “You have decreased range of opening. So no more blowjobs for you!” Alex replies, “No more what for me?”

Speaking to her friend Sam (Whyte), Alex says, “My son Ruari is off to university next month. I’m thinking of getting back out there. Just fun, lightly degrading sex.” “Mum,” says a horrified Ruari (Murphy), who is revealed to be standing right behind them.

“Do you think you can still be sexy when you’re 60? Like, in the club?” Alex’s voice is heard saying over a clip of her dancing with a younger man. “That’s too much eye contact, sorry!” she says to him, pushing him away. Narrating, she continues, “”When did it all stop being fun? in four years, I’ve not had a man in my bed. I need to meet someone now,” Alex continues, narrating. “I think I’ve got, like, 10 years left as a sexual person — tops.”
