Lines 3 and 4 will once again run along Špitálska Street from 29 August, while Line 1 avoids SNP Square during ongoing renovation work.
Bratislava tram lines 3 and 4 will return to their usual routes along Špitálska Street on Saturday, 29 August, following a summer closure.
They will again serve the rebuilt Centrum tram stop by the Prior department store and Tesco on Špitálska Street. The stop has been moved closer to Námestie Nežnej revolúcie (Velvet Revolution Square) for trams heading towards Petržalka and Dúbravka, two of Bratislava’s boroughs.
The stop has a new raised platform, shelters and an electronic information board.
Tram line 1 will meanwhile be diverted away from SNP Square while work continues on Živé námestie (Living Square), a project to renovate SNP Square and neighbouring Kamenné Square in the heart of Bratislava.
