Aug. 27 (UPI) -- The BBC has renewed its sci-fi comedy, Ann Droid, for a second season.
The show was written and created by Diane Morgan and Sarah Kendell, and stars Diane Morgan, Sue Johnston and Paul Ready.
Season 1 premiered in July. It follows the relationship between a woman and her Eldercare Robot.
"The response to Ann Droid has been so incredible," Morgan said in a press release Thursday.
