Türkiye unveils Emissions Trading System regulation
Türkiye aims to accelerate the green transformation.
Türkiye’s Emissions Trading System (TR ETS) Regulation, prepared by the Climate Change Directorate under the Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Ministry, has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to a statement from the ministry, the regulation sets out the rules governing the implementation of the Turkish Emissions Trading System.
Under the framework, the TR ETS is expected to play a key role in advancing climate-friendly transformation and green development goals at both the national and international levels.
