MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Mark A. Villar called on his colleagues to immediately pass Senate Bill No. 2426, or the proposed Comprehensive School Safety Act, following a series of violent incidents that have left students and school personnel across the country dead.
“Lubos pong nakakaalarma ang sunod-sunod na insidente ng karahasan sa mga eskwelahan,” Villar said in his co-sponsorship speech on Wednesday.
(“The series of violent incidents in schools is very alarming.”)
