The aftermath of the Russian attack is being dealt with at nine locations in the Kyiv region’s Boryspil district.
According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reported this on Facebook.
“Rescuers are working at nine locations in the Boryspil district. These include private homes, warehouses and areas of vegetation that have caught fire,” the statement said.
The work of emergency crews is being hampered by repeated Russian attacks. Firefighters have had to suspend operations several times because of the threat of further strikes and withdraw to safe locations.
Additional SES personnel and equipment have been deployed to reinforce the response and help extinguish the fires.
