Lagos Deputy Gov. Dr Obafemi Hamzat, on Thursday, mourned the death of media entrepreneur, Dotun Oladipo, describing it as a huge loss to Nigeria’s journalism community.
Oladipo, who died on Tuesday at the age of 56, was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Premium Eagle Media Ltd, publishers of The Eagle Online.
In a condolence statement issued by Senior Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor, Mr Tunde Alao,Hamzat expressed deep sorrow over Oladipo’s passing.
Hamzat described the late journalist as a dedicated professional whose contributions to the growth of digital journalism in Nigeria would be sorely missed.
