KSBC and Consumerfed operate liquor outlets across Keralam.

The Kerala State Beverages Corporation (KSBC) clocked liquor sales of ₹771.29 crore during eight days leading up to Onam till August 25. The corresponding figures during the previous year was ₹694.9 crore, KSBC MD Yogesh Gupta told The Hindu. Last year, the BEVCO had recorded an all-time high of ₹970.74 crore in liquor sales from its Bevco outlets in Kerala during the 12-day Onam season.BEVCO outlets remained closed across the State on Wednesday (August 26), the Onam day. Apart from KSBC, Consumerfed also operates liquor outlets across the State, and the data on its liquor sales has yet to be released. Published - August 27, 2026 03:57 pm IST
