ALBAWABA - The Israeli army announced on Thursday that it had assassinated the personal bodyguard of former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.The army said it killed Hazem Musa, a Nukhaba attacker from the military wing of Hamas who raided the Re'im camp on October 7, in a strike on the Khan Yunis area in the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday.In addition to Hazem Musa, the military further announced that, in the Monday attack on Khan Yunis it killed Razak Suhail Suleiman Abu Shahama, a Nukhaba fighter who raided the Re'im camp on October 7.The army also noted that Abu Shahama served as Yahya Sinwar's bodyguard.According to the statement released by the Israeli army, "Recently, the 'terrorists' have promoted 'terrorist plots' against IDF forces and citizens of the State of Israel and have attempted to restore the organization’s capabilities, while systematically violating the ceasefire. The attack was carried out with the aim of removing the threat."
