Thulani Gumede of Richards Bay FC gave Kaizer Chiefs' players a hard time as they drew 2-2 in the Betway Premiership match at Priness Magogo Stadium.
Kaizer Chiefs coach Fernando da Cruz was pleased with the impact of his substitutes in Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with Richards Bay, but admitted his side’s failure to turn their dominance into three points was frustrating.
Chiefs twice came from behind at Princess Magogo Stadium, with Siphesihle Ndlovu producing a moment of magic in the 77th minute to earn Amakhosi a point.
The equaliser was preceded by a sustained spell of pressure from Chiefs, with the introduction of Dillan Solomons in particular adding another dimension down the right. Solomons repeatedly delivered dangerous crosses into the box, while Wandile Duba and Asanele Velebayi also injected fresh energy as Chiefs chased the game.
Da Cruz was happy with what he saw from his bench.
