Vogue Williams has shared on her podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me that husband Spencer Matthews stepped in and ruined her chances with a famous man she fancied while appearing on The Jump – before the couple had even got together.09:16, 27 Aug 2026Vogue Williams has recalled an embarrassing chapter from before her relationship with Spencer Matthews, claiming her future husband once deliberately got in the way after discovering she fancied another famous man.‌The presenter opened up about the incident while chatting to Joanne McNally on My Therapist Ghosted Me, with the pair discussing the dynamics between celebrities and people they meet through work.‌The conversation turned to attractive members of a production crew after Joanne mentioned comedian Joe Lycett and an exchange about whether crew members would be interested in them.‌Vogue then admitted she had previously tried to turn a professional relationship into something more. "I've tried to score one before," she said, reports the Irish Mirror.She went on to recall an attempt she made while appearing on The Jump, where she had taken a particular interest in one of the men involved with the show."I tried to score one on The Jump, like, proper. Yeah, proper tried to score one." However, Vogue said there were two factors that ultimately prevented anything from happening.‌"Well, there were two reasons. Spenny went in and told him that he had fancied him." At the time, Spencer and the man were friends, but Vogue said she had also developed feelings for him and was still connected with him on social media."And Spenny and him were friends, but I quite fancied him. I still follow him on Instagram, and I was trying to score him." Joanne then questioned the circumstances, appearing unconvinced that Spencer's involvement had been entirely innocent.‌Vogue's response suggested her future husband had been far more proactive than simply offering an opinion.Vogue went on to reveal that this was not the only time Spencer had become involved when she was interested in another man.Before she and Spencer became a couple, she said she had told him about another famous person she fancied.‌"There was this famous guy that Spenny knew. And I was like, 'I really fancy him.' And this was before me and Spenny had got together."Spencer initially appeared willing to help, according to Vogue, even suggesting he could arrange for the pair to meet.‌"And Spenny was like, 'Oh, I could probably set you up with him.' Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah."But Vogue claimed the offer of help ultimately concealed a very different plan."And then texted him and said that he was seeing me."‌The revelation comes as Vogue and Spencer prepare to welcome their fourth child together.
