TERRICIA Govender, 33, of Isipingo Beach, was among the travel group that went missing when an immigration office on the Tibet-Nepal border was washed away in the flash floods on Wednesday.
Her mother, Linda Govender, said her daughter had started her pilgrimage on August 12 and had been looking forward to it for months.
Govender was travelling alone but was part of a larger tour group associated with the Isha Foundation, which was returning from the Mount Kailash Yatra when the disaster struck.
Her family was informed by the Isha Foundation that she was among the missing people.
