Suwon Migrant Community Service Center Suwon Migrant Community Service Center will hold a three-day employment preparation program for married immigrant women seeking to better understand the Korean job market and develop practical job-seeking skills.Three sessions will be held across Sept. 7, 9 and 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the center's computer room in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.The first session will provide an orientation, employment success stories and an introduction to the Korean work environment.The second session will focus on helping participants identify their interests and strengths. Participants will take a vocational preference test, receive explanations of their results and learn about occupations commonly pursued by immigrant women in Korea.The final session will cover practical job-search skills including how to write resumes and personal statements, workplace etiquette, interview preparation and image-making.The free program is open to immigrant women holding F-2, F-5 or F-6 visas, as well as naturalized Korean citizens who previously held the same visa types.A total of 20 participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
