Tottenham Hotspur’s new signing Savio marked his debut with a goal as Spurs cruised to a 5-0 victory over Charlton Athletic to reach the third round of the Carabao Cup.
The Brazil winger, signed from Manchester City for an initial £75 million, came off the bench in the 71st minute with Tottenham already leading 3-0.
Savio made an immediate impact, scoring 11 minutes after his introduction after weaving past two Charlton defenders before firing into the net from the edge of the box.
The 22-year-old celebrated by lifting the corner flag as Tottenham fans welcomed a memorable first appearance for their expensive summer signing.
