Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua says Kenya’s opposition will settle on a single presidential candidate early next year.
Gachagua urged Kenyans to remain patient as rival political formations intensify efforts to build a united front ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Speaking at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, as he left for the United States, Gachagua said consultations within the opposition would continue, including with Kenyans living abroad.
