A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in a caravan at a holiday park. Police were called to Overstone Lakes in Sywell, Northamptonshire, at around 6.20pm on Monday following reports of an assault. The body of Susan Lumsden, 62, was found inside a caravan when officers arrived. A 72-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and he remains in police custody. Northamptonshire Police is appealing to anyone who was in the caravan park or surrounding area and may have information that could assist the investigation. Detective Chief Inspector Ryan Catling said: 'Our thoughts remain with Susan's family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time and specialist officers continue to support them.'Our investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death is progressing, and although we have a man in custody, we are still keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the Ecton Lane area of Sywell, particularly the caravan park, in the hours leading up to the incident, or who may have information which could assist our investigation.
