OTTAWA — As U.S. President Donald Trump warned Wednesday that Canada does not have “anything” his country’s needs, Ontario’s premier shot back by raising the spectre of choking its supply of a key resource used by American farmers.

“If we ever cut out potash, their agricultural sector would be dead overnight, absolutely dead,” Ford told reporters in Vaughan, Ont.
