The leaders of Luxembourg and Estonia, during their visit to Ukraine, saw the aftermath of Russian strikes on Kyiv.
The Communications Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported this, Ukrinform says.
Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden, accompanied by Deputy Interior Minister Oleksii Serhieiev, visited the site of one of the Russian strikes in Kyiv’s Lukianivka district.
Serhieiev, together with Andrii Danyk, Head of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES), showed the foreign guests the destroyed and burned buildings and briefed them on the scale of the damage and the rescuers’ daily work, the Interior Ministry said.
Estonian President Alar Karis, accompanied by Serhieiev, inspected an apartment building in Kyiv that was hit by a Russian missile in July. Nineteen people were killed in the massive attack on the capital at the time.
