In the evening of Wednesday, August 26, an unmanned aerial vehicle violated Moldova’s airspace amid Russia’s attacks on Ukraine.
This was reported by Newsmaker, citing Moldova’s Ministry of Defense, according to Ukrinform.
“An unauthorized flight over our country’s airspace occurred following Russia’s air attacks on Ukraine today,” Moldova’s Defense Ministry said.
According to a statement by the National Army’s Air Operations Service, at 17:38, an aircraft was detected entering Moldovan airspace near the settlement of Palanca from Ukrainian territory.
At 17:43, the object re-entered Ukrainian territory from the direction of the settlement of Tudora, near the village of Hradenytsi in the Odesa region.
