According to the police, Sterling has been charged with dangerous driving, possession of nitrous oxide for wrongful inhalation and failing to provide a specimen.
Former England international, Raheem Sterling, has been charged with dangerous driving and possession of nitrous oxide following a single-vehicle crash involving a Lamborghini on a motorway, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has said.
The 31-year-old footballer is facing three charges after the collision occurred on the M3 southbound, near the Minley interchange, on May 28.
According to the police, Sterling has been charged with dangerous driving, possession of nitrous oxide for wrongful inhalation and failing to provide a specimen.
The force said the incident involved only one vehicle and that no injuries were reported.
