GTA 6RockstarAs leaks continue to pour out from a build of Grand Theft Auto 6 over the course of the past week, Rockstar’s official gameplay preview will on Thursday, August 27. That is an “extended look” on Netflix, a first-of-its-kind concept where Rockstar will show off its first GTA 6 gameplay footage at 3 PM ET. Then, that footage will hit YouTube six hours later at 9 PM ET. A strange preview setup indeed.That extended look, however long it may be (estimates are 20-30 minutes), is not the only preview of GTA 6 on Thursday. It’s been confirmed that a creator/press preview will go live with impressions of the game after a (mostly) secret meetup at Rockstar a month ago, right after the Netflix special ends. This was confirmed by YouTuber TGG, who has over 2 million followers, on Twitter:“Last month I was invited to Rockstar North in Edinburgh. While there, I learned exclusive information about GTA 6. As soon as the Extended Look is out, I'm telling you everything. Tomorrow. Thank you to everyone at @RockstarGames who made this happen, I can't wait.”While it seems like maybe this wasn’t supposed to be confirmed just yet, the official Rockstar account responded with a gorilla emoji and a heart emoji. TGG stands for “The Gaming Gorilla.” So it seems to be all good.A catch here is that, reportedly, the preview was not actually the attendees playing the game, but rather a hands-off showcase where they were shown gameplay and footage rather than being able to roam around or play story missions themselves. It’s possible, if not likely, that a future preview could be hands-on, but this one wasn’t. We also don’t know what footage, if any, was captured for the event that will go above and beyond what’s shown in tomorrow’s Netflix showcase. The leaker hasn’t been stopped so far, and it remains unclear just how long this situation may last and the extent of what might be revealed from their fully playable build, a somewhat insane situation.As I write this, Cyberleeks has just leaked a long Lucia section of story for GTA 6.
