The actor, Tim Curry, who starred in classic such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Home Alone 2, has died aged 80.
Curry. who had struggled with his health for more than a decade after suffering a stroke, passed away at his home in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening, Variety and TMZ reported.
The website said his death is not being treated as suspicious.
Curry, who was borne in Cheshire in 1946, played Dr Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which became a cult classic.
His other roles include Annie, The Hunt for Red October and Muppet Treasure Island.
