Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, has inaugurated a 600-member campaign council of the African Democratic Congress in Kebbi State, with a call for unity, reconciliation and issue-based politics ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Malami, who inaugurated the council in Kebbi on Wednesday, charged its members to work collectively to build a strong grassroots campaign structure capable of mobilising support across the state’s 21 local government areas.

He said the inauguration was not merely about appointing campaign officials but represented the beginning of a coordinated effort to take the ADC’s message to communities, wards and polling units across the state.

According to him, the campaign council was deliberately constituted to reflect the diversity of Kebbi State, with members drawn from different communities, local government areas and senatorial districts.
