MISS World Trinidad and Tobago representative Georgia-Lee Gill has made the Top 40 cut at the 73rd edition of the competition, for which the finale will be held next month.She was announced as the Americas and Caribbean winner of the Head-to-Head Challenge, which automatically fast-tracked Trinidad and Tobago into the Top 40.During the 2025 Miss World, national represen tative Anna-Lise Nanton had also secured her place in the Top 40 after winning the Americas and Caribbean leg of the Head-to-Head Challenge.Via a news release yesterday, national direc tor and franchise holder Charu Lochan Dass said, 'She continues to carry the red, white and black with grace, purpose and authenticity, proving when preparation meets opportunity, Trinidad and Tobago can stand confidently among the very best in the world. Congratulations, Trinidad and Tobago.'She explained the Head-to-Head Challenge provides each national representative with an opportunity to demonstrate her communication and public-speaking skills, delivering a short presentation on a topic determined by the Miss World Organisation.'On Saturday, Georgia- Lee delivered a moving and passionate presentation on her Beauty With a Purpose project, The Silver Circle, an initiative advocating for greater support, resources and guidance for families caring for loved ones living with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.'Her presentation earned her a place among the Top Five representatives from the Americas and Caribbean, alongside The Bahamas, Martinique, Bolivia and the United States,' she said.She reported that the speech subsequently gained significant attention online, with an outpouring of positive responses from Trinidad and Tobago and audiences across the world.'Georgia-Lee remains deeply grateful for the kindness, encouragement and genuine praise she has received from both nationals and international supporters,' she said.She said that on Monday morning, the top five representatives were given another challenge: to use the Miss World international platform to deliver a message to young girls and women across their region.'Once again, Georgia- Lee Gill spoke with sincerity and conviction, offering a heartfelt message encouraging women and girls to believe in themselves, have faith in their abilities and boldly manifest the future they envision for themselves.
