Actor Ramsha Khan has been missing from social media for a while and it has now emerged that she no longer wishes to be in the public eye at all.
The actor deleted — or possibly deactivated — her Instagram account after her marriage to her Biryani co-star Khushhal Khan in April and recently told Something Haute’s Hassan Choudary she does not want to so much as be seen on social media after what happened at her wedding.
In a podcast published on Tuesday, Choudary said he had spoken to both Ramsha and Khushhal, and the actor told him she didn’t want to be seen online.
Although it’s been a few months since she’s been off social media, fans were puzzled by her supposed absence from her sister Alysha Khan’s wedding festivities last week.
Unlike Ramsha and Khushhal, Alysha posted about her wedding — a lot — and when people couldn’t spot the actor anywhere, they got worried. While some speculated the couple was in the background wearing masks based on a glimpse of a couple in one of the videos, it is unclear whether that was them.
