President Volodymyr Zelensky, together with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi, met today with soldiers of the 80th Separate Galician Air Assault Brigade on the Oleksandrivka front.
According to Ukrinform, the president reported this on Facebook.
"Today, together with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi, we are working on the front line in the Oleksandrivskyi sector. We met with the warriors of the 80th Halytska Separate Air Assault Brigade," Zelensky said.
He noted that, first and foremost, he expressed his gratitude to the soldiers who make it possible for Ukraine to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the restoration of its independence these days. According to the president, Russia launched its full-scale war after Ukraine's 30th anniversary, but Ukrainian soldiers have been fighting with pride and resilience for more than four years to preserve their country. This, he said, is the main reason Ukraine exists and continues to live.
