Raccoons are the unofficial mascot of the city of Toronto, so it’s only fitting that the zoo is adding two more of the locally beloved creatures to its roster.

The popular attraction welcomed female River and male Racer — both estimated to be about eight years old — to its Canadian Domain, it revealed in a post on social media Tuesday. They join resident raccoon Manny, whose former female roommate, Micro, died last winter at 14 years of age, according to the zoo.
