The company identified the incident on Tuesday, August 25, and activated its incident response protocols, bringing in third-party cybersecurity experts to assess and contain the threat, the company said. The full scope of the attack, including its operational and financial impact, remains unknown, and Boston Scientific said it has not yet determined whether the incident is likely to have a material effect on the company.
