A passenger, identified as Mohammed Siraj, an Indian national, was caught carrying two yellow-metal capsules, during pre-embarkation security checks at Terminal 1 of Kempegowda International Airport.

Two yellow-metal capsules weighing approximately 82 grams were detected concealed inside the mouth of a passenger at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Wednesday (August 26, 2026).The passenger, identified as Mohammed Siraj, an Indian national, had arrived in Bengaluru from Dubai and was scheduled to travel to Ghaziabad by flight.The detection was made at Terminal 1 during pre-embarkation security checks. While frisking Siraj, CISF sub-inspector Deepak Kumar Sharma allegedly noticed that the passenger was not responding appropriately to the screening officer’s questions, raising suspicion.

Two yellow-metal capsules, weighing around 82 grams in total, were found concealed inside the passenger’s mouth.
