Harriet Cowan has reflected on how Clarkson's Farm propelled her to fame in a new interview. The farmer, 25, starred in the fourth series last year and became a breakout star as she stood in for Kaleb Cooper while he was away on tour. Now, a year later, Harriet has addressed her rivalry with Kaleb, 28, and also revealed she gets '500 marriage proposals a day' on her social media. Harriet caught Clarkson's Farm producers' attention through her huge TikTok following where she showcased farm life, and it was this that led her to star on the show. Now boasting 846,000 followers on TikTok and 663,000 on Instagram, Harriet told The Telegraph: 'I must get about a thousand DMs a day and probably 50 per cent are just men being like, "I wish I could marry you." 'But it’s all fun and games. The other 50 per cent are young girls seeing me farming and thinking, "I’d like to do what she does." And they’re who I do it for.' During the interview, Harriet also spoke about the frosty reception she received from Kaleb when he returned for filming Clarkson's Farm. She said: 'I understand why he was p****d off and I’m not going to lie, he was. But it wasn’t because of me as a person, or me as a woman. It was because he’d been away for so long on a tour bus.'He’s like me, he’s a homebody. Eight weeks driving around, not with family, or being on a tractor. Then you come home and find out someone else has been doing your job? I’d be p****d off. But me and him are great now.' Harriet said they have 'cleared the air completely' and they've become good friends. When asked if she would return to the hit Amazon Prime show, Harriet said she has no set plans to return as it's a 'long drive' from Derby, but she wouldn't say no. The television personality trained as a nurse and worked on her father's farm but has given up nursing to focus fully on her farming career. She has also just bought her own farm and plans to turn 100 acres in Derby into a cattle-fattening business. Fans of the hit Amazon Prime show will be delighted to hear the presenter, 66, is back in front of the camera after the future of Clarkson's Farm was thrown into doubt. In the series five finale, Jeremy revealed he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and had to undergo treatment. The final episode concluded with the presenter telling viewers: 'If this is all successful I'll see you for season six and if it isn't I won't. Take care everyone.' The presenter was seen with the Amazon Prime camera crew at Diddly Squat Farm in June as he hosted the UK arable trade show, Cereals. Joined by his team Kaleb, Charlie Ireland and girlfriend Lisa Hogan, Diddly Squat saw a record-breaking crowd of over 25,000 visitors turn up to the farm to take in the 650 industry exhibitors.
