Enugu State Governor, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has been appointed Zonal Campaign Coordinator for the South-East in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 general election.
The full membership list of the council was released on Saturday, August 22, 2026, by the Presidency through Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy. The announcement expands on earlier details of the council’s principal officers.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will chair the council. Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda serve as Vice Chairmen I and II respectively. Former Zamfara State Governor Senator Abdulaziz Yari is Director-General, while Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma is Secretary. Other key positions include Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru as Deputy Secretary and Hadiza Bala Usman as Assistant Secretary.
